Financial Support Overview

Since 1912 the Greenwich Council, Boy Scouts of America has been providing Greenwich youth with quality programs, building their character and citizenship, and providing them opportunities to experience and learn in the outdoors with resources such as the Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation.  We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that follows the mission of the Boy Scouts of America: to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.  Continuing this mission is made possible through the hard work of our strong volunteers and the generous contributions of our Scouting supporters.

There are several ways to financially contribute to Greenwich Scouting, ensuring our continued success working with 2,500 youth annually and our operations. Annual Fundraising includes our largest fundraising event, the Greenwich Scouting Golf Tournament, as well as our Annual Fundraising Campaign, Friends of Scouting.  Additional support opportunities include planned giving, matching gifts, endowment gifts and stock donations.  What better way to support Greenwich Scouts then by sending them to camp?!  Camperships that provide Scouts the opportunity to attend Camp Seton Summer Camp, High Adventure BSA Camps and the National Jamboree are a great way to support our youth.

Scouts, are you looking to raise money for your Pack or Troop?  There are many ways to fundraise for your Unit, including the sale of popcorn!
